Calder Rugby Club (also known as Calder RFC) invites you to join them as they uphold the name of those famous Scottish heroes who came from the area of the River Calder, here in Lanarkshire near Bellshill and Uddingston.

This is the home of The Black Douglas - and a base for the Scottish army led by The Good Sir James Douglas. As they fought to support the Scottish people and help their fellow peoples from their poverty and plight; we have based our vision on the same values.

Our Club, here in Bellshill, Viewpark and South Coatbridge, welcomes you to take your part in re-creating history and building on the winning ways for which Black Douglas was so well known.

Although Calder Rugby was established in 2006, our vision and belief are based on those that existed over 600 years ago. We are proud to be the newest Rugby Club in Scottish Rugby and we invite YOU to join us in our challenge to champion the cause of sport and build the name of this area yet again, excelling in all sports.
